What is Ramen RYU?
Ramen RYU opened in 2023 as Toronto’s first specialty shop serving Iekei ramen
—a bold and hearty ramen style born in Yokohama, Japan.
Iekei ramen features a rich soy-based broth made from pork and chicken bones,
paired with medium-thick straight noodles.
At Ramen RYU, we prepare our broth fresh in-house every day and use carefully selected ingredients to recreate the authentic taste of Japan.
Menu Highlights
Original I-E-KEI Ramen
A signature bowl featuring a thick pork and chicken-based soy sauce broth with medium-thick straight noodles.
Black Garlic I-E-KEI
Enhanced with aromatic black garlic oil for a deeper, roasted flavor.
